More than 20 years ago, ar18 began in a workshop in Uxbridge no bigger than a small garage. With determination, hard work, and a commitment to doing things properly, the company steadily grew, eventually expanding into six large warehouse units on the same site.
From the very beginning, people have always been at the heart of ar18. Over the years, the company has invested heavily in both its team and its technology, building a highly skilled workforce and creating an environment where pride in craftsmanship and attention to detail come naturally. Today, ar18 is powered by 40 dedicated full-time staff, all committed to delivering the highest standards of quality and service.
As the business grew, so did its reputation for reliability and speed. Reacting quickly to customers’ needs, delivering on time, and staying on budget became the foundations of the company’s success. No matter the scale or complexity of a project, ar18 developed a reputation for staying organised, adaptable, and solutions-focused.
Now, ar18 has entered an exciting new chapter.
In April 2026, the company officially moved into its new purpose-built headquarters in Kings Langley — a state-of-the-art eco-factory designed with the future in mind. Built to achieve BREEAM Outstanding standards, the one-acre facility reflects ar18’s long-term commitment to sustainability, innovation, and responsible manufacturing.
Constructed using sustainable glulam timber, the building features a living roof and solar-powered energy systems, combining modern design with environmental responsibility. While the team is now fully operational in the new facility, development of the surrounding grounds continues as the site evolves into a landmark workspace for the future.
From a small garage workshop to a pioneering eco-factory, the story of ar18 has always been one of steady growth, investment in people, and a commitment to delivering exceptional work for every customer.
